Independent Living

Maybe the time has come for Mom to start thinking about selling the big house and moving to an apartment, where she will remain independent, but still have a range of amenities that will keep her safe and healthy: nutritious meals, laundry and housekeeping services and lots of opportunities to socialize with others her own age. She still takes care of her own needs, but it might be time to leave the upkeep of the house and the yard behind. At The Cedars, our independent apartments are perfect for the resident who wants to retain his or her independence, but still have some support services available.

Entertain friends and relatives in your spacious apartment. Enjoy a beautiful view from your lakeside window or spacious patio. Take a walk around the beautiful grounds. Go out to lunch with your neighbors. Or just sit in the gazebo on a sunny afternoon and chat with your new friends. Your choices abound at The Cedars.  Rest assured, however, that if needs for assistance arise, we will be happy to help you locate services so that you can remain in your apartment.
